Jonathan Wilkinson, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources

Welcome back, for his second appearance on The Herle Burly, Minister Jonathan Wilkinson. First elected in 2015, Mr. Wilkinson has served Canadians as Minister of Fisheries, Oceans. And the last time the minister was on the pod, back in February 2021, it was in his capacity as Minister of the Environment and Climate Change. Subsequent to the last election, he was appointed Minister of Natural Resources at the end of October. So today we’re going to talk more about climate change, the path to net-zero and to 1.5-2 degrees, and the natural resource sector’s role in those objectives and outcomes.
