Michael Wernick is a retired Canadian public servant who served as the 23rd Clerk of the Privy Council of Canada from 2016 to 2019. For people who don’t follow government that closely, that’s the number one job in the public service of Canada.
Following his retirement, Michael authored a new book called, “Governing Canada: A Guide to the Tradecraft of Politics.” This is a must read book for anyone who wants to understand how government works. We’ll discuss exactly how it works on today’s podcast with Michael.
