Peter Routledge

On the pod we have a guest we’ve been wanting to talk to for a good long while now: Peter Routledge.

Mr. Routledge is the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for the Government of Canada (OSFI), appointed to that position in June of last year. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation. He’s also been a Senior Advisor at the Department of Finance, working on a wide range of policy issues including financial stability, housing finance and competition in financial services.

Today, we’re going to talk about his mandate and what OSFI does? And we’re going to talk specifically about housing, cryptocurrency, and climate.

As a bonus, you can read Peter's op-ed in #QUOTES from Air Quotes Media here: “SUSTAINING CANADIAN FINANCIAL SYSTEM RESILIENCE THROUGH UNCERTAINTY AND VOLATILITY.”
